High and very high containment level
SUPER-RAIL® achieves the specification classes H2 and H4b of EN 1317-2 and combines a high containment level with a very low deflection of the system.

SUPER-RAIL® provides considerable advantages compared to classical systems, when highest possible safety is required i.e. in the case of breakthrough of heavy vehicles like trucks, etc. The excellent impact severity level 'A' reduces the danger for occupants of small vehicles considerably.

The Construction
The vehicle restraint system SUPER-RAIL® is installed with pile-driven posts C-125. The post spacing is 1.33 ms. The two transverse box beam profiles are fixed to the posts. The beam (alternatively A or B profiles available) is connected to the lower box beam profile at the deformation elements. The installation height of the lower beam is 0.75 ms and is therefore in accordance with the installation height of standard guard rail beam.

The System
SUPER-RAIL® is hot dip galvanized and has a construction height of 1.15 ms. The construction width is approximately 0.50 ms. On demand this can be reduced to 0.38 ms by leaving out the deformation elements.
The longitudinal elements have a construction length of 4.00 ms.
The weight of the system is approximately 72.00 kg per meter.
The start section of SUPER-RAIL® is connected to another guard rail system by a transition. The end section can also be a transition to another barrier system or turndown section with anchorage.
