In the outskirts of Ebensfeld, administrative district of Lichtenfels in Eggenbach, we mounted a solar power plant for the IBC SOLAR AG Bad Staffelstein in silicone thin-layer
technology with a total power of 579.6 kWp. By the end of April 2007, the construction started on an area with approx. 3.5 hectares which was formally used agriculturally.
Since mid July 2007, the complete plant has fed environmentally friendly produced power into the national grid of E.ON Bayern AG.
Through this solar park, the environment is saved 318 tonnes of Co2 emissions per year.
Through the power produced, 187 four-person households can be supplied.
