SafetyRail combines the functionality of a guardrail system and a hand railing.
An additional hand railing is not required, so a significant cost reduction can be achieved.
Key facts:
- Construction is supported by square posts with base plates at a post distance of 1.33 m.
- Anchored by chemical or prefabricated anchors, the latter cast into fresh concrete.
- Connection between the box-beam and the post is effected by deformation elements.
- Hheight of the box-beam is 0.75 m.
- An additional smaller C-profile with deformation elements is installed below the box-beam for further protection (rubbing rail).
- The upper part is composed of a special parapet-type hand railing being reinforced by a steel wire-rope within the profile.
Safety-Rail is hot-dip galvanized and shows an overall height of 1.15 m at a system width of the system is 0.40 m.
In case of extremely limited space, the width can be reduced to 0.27 m by removing the deformation elements.
The weight of the system is about 63 kg/m.
