The Construction
MINI-GUARD® is a mobile safety barrier construction, pre-assembled and hot dip galvanized.
It consists of a 1.50 ms long, 0.50 ms wide and 0.42 ms high body element with a foot section on both sides. The completion element is a steel tube of 1.50 ms length. Together with the body element the overall height of the system is 0.505 ms.
The standard element has a weight of approximately 60.00 kg and is equipped with an integrated drainage channel. Due to the foot section, which allows driving on both sides, MINI-GUARD® achieves a planning width of 200.00 ms according to the 'Technical Terms of Delivery for Mobile Barriers 97'.

The System
The single MINI-GUARD® elements are linked together by connection tubes, which are fastened by plug connection bolts. The system is only anchored at the beginning and at the end and linked to existing guard rail constructions.
To anchor the system, a post sleeve will be inserted by means of a core drilling.
Finally the MINI-GUARD® terminal is fastened with a post, which will be inserted into the post sleeve. The system can also be anchored with earth pins.
Furthermore MINI-GUARD® allows mechanical links to other systems like guard rails, VARIO-GUARD® or concrete barriers.
In addition several special elements can be provided like fast-opening elements, repair- and breakover elements.
