In areas with continuous passenger transportation, a substantial improvement in safety is aimed by the additional installation of a vertical extension rail.
The required guard rail height of 1.20 m can only be implemented by longer posts. The proven round timber serves as a hand rail with a diameter of 120 mm.
It can be mounted at post intervals of 4 m and 2 m, whereby the latter offers a significantly greater stability.
To avoid accidents and for additional stability of the system, the hand rail is professionally driven in at the start and end of each individual section.
