Project: Eurospeedway Lausitz race track

The Lausitz race track is a venue for many motorsport events such as the German Touring Car Championship and the IDM Superbike. In September 2001, a race took place in Europe for the first time on the Lausitz track as part of the American C.A.R.T series.
The FIA safety standards made extremely high demands on the use of vehicle restraint systems for the protection of drivers and the spectators.

Performance characteristics:

  • Supply and delivery of 13,500 m of triple guard rail including 1,600 m special construction in steep turn area
  • 30,600 m² FIA fence including increase, total height 8.2 m over OK race track with overhang of more than 2.0 m. The fence construction in the tri-oval is unique worldwide in its construction dimensions!
